Batteries connected in series should have the same amp-hour rating while batteries in parallel bank should have the same voltage rating.
It's better to go for batteries with higher voltage when running high-power electrical appliances instead of wiring two battery packs together.

Great battery but Design Changes BEWARE

I purchased one of these batteries a few years ago and wired it up. It came with a 120a Blue Anderson connector on the battery and supplied with the cables from 120a Andersons to 175a Andersons. The bottom Anderson was positive while the top was negative. The battery performed well but could not handle my coffee machine so I purchased a second battery to run in parallel. When the second battery arrived it now has 175a blue Anderson connectors on the battery and no cables or Andersons supplied in the box. They have wired the Anderson plugs correctly so positive and negative on the same Blue Anderson. Contacted Oututbax to ask for Blue Andersons and they do not supply/sell. Blue Anderson you cannot find in Australia. There is one company in Australind Sales67.com.au which can get them but have no stock. Once I got the correct connectors and wired everything in the batteries work perfectly for 200ah and now my coffee machine has not missed a beat. The batteries a slimline and tuck away in the back on my 4WD. Just disappointing in the change of design and no clear instructions.

The battery manual states low voltage @11.2v would put the battery to sleep. What voltage would be needed to wake the battery back up?

The over-discharge recovery voltage is 10.6V.

What cables should I use to connect the batteries in series or parallel?

The specifications of the selected cables are determined according to the actual charging and discharging current. The overcurrent value varies from different cables. For example, the cross-sectional area of the conductor is 10mm2, and the cable can pass 50A current. The cross-sectional area of the conductor is 25mm2, and the cable can pass 100A current, etc.

How do I maintain the life cycle of battery?

1. Lithium batteries that have not been used for a long time should be stored in a cool and dry place. It's best to store them in a semi-electric state. Storage without any power will also damage the battery. Check the battery every 3 months to see if it needs to be recharged. 2. Lithium batteries should be charged while they are in use, but it should be noted that lithium batteries cannot be over-discharged, which will cause irreversible capacity loss. Don't wait to charge the battery until there is no power at all. The best time to charge is when the power state of the battery is less than 10%. 3. Do not mix the lithium battery with metal objects to avoid metal objects touching the positive and negative poles of the battery. This could result in short circuiting, damage to the battery and even cause danger. 4. Use a regular compatible lithium battery charger to charge the battery. Do not use a charger with inferior quality or other types of lead-acid battery chargers to charge the lithium battery.

Do I need a battery balancer when running in series to 48V?

A battery balancer can better protect the battery and maintain voltage balance, so it's a good choice.

What are the bracket/hole dimensions?

The holes are two semicircles with a radius of 3.25mm + 6.5*10mm rectangular holes. The center distance between the two holes is 562.4mm. The distance between the two brackets is 530mm.
