Can I use this generator in a National Park?

Generally, generators below 65dB are allowed in parks as they are considered quiet generators. Our Gentrax unit has a noise level of 58dB at 7m, which is similar to the sound of a low TV volume. However, it's still best to check with the relevant agency managing the national parks that you want to visit in case of additional requirements.

Can this generator run a 1.6kW air conditioner?

It can run a 1.6kW air conditioner as long as the starting power will not exceed 4.2kW and the running power stays within 3.5kW.

Is there a way to shut off the petrol supply so I can run the carborator dry?

To shut off the petrol supply, simply switch off the fuel cock.

Does the DC protector have to be ON at all times?

The DC protector is switched on by default. It will only pop up if there's an overload in DC. If this happens, you just need to presse it back in to reset.

Can I use a T-plug adapter to connect a cigarette lighter to my generator?

No. We highly recommend to use only the accessories that came with the unit to keep both your generator and other equipment in optimal condition.
