How to install a solar panel on a van?

Most panels will have double sided tape already provided, but if there 's none supplied, you 'll need to add it yourself.
Start by cleaning the roof of your van with quality isopropyl alcohol to make sure it is clean from any oil and grease marks. Lay the panel out on your roof and note where the cables will be connected. Position these in the appropriate location and then mark out the edges of the panels with a pencil or felt marker. Once you're happy with the location, remove the backing from the tape and lower the panel into position.
